Laboratory tests

The aim of the feasibility study is to define possible processes and of the related interventions involved. From the analysis of basic data, evaluation of different alternatives and approximate dimensions of a future project can be done, with the determination of the investment cost.

After executing pilot tests, Austep comes up with a proposal for construction of the plant on an industrial scale, guaranteeing its performance of pollutants removal.

Feasibility study with pilot plant

Lab-scale tests and pilot tests conducted with plants on a smaller scale allow testing to ensure that the goals of treatment are fulfilled.

This permits the optimal process parameters identification and the involved mass balance and energy balance definition, determining the correct design on the basis of the customer's effective needs so as to prevent expensive over-scaling.
