FENTON is a chemical oxidation treatment responding to the need for purification of wastewater which cannot be treated biologically, such as highly toxic or inorganic wastewater.
Fenton technology applies to different industrial streams, containing phenols, aldehydes, colour, pesticides, etc…
It is based on the high reactivity of the oxydril radical, that forms under controlled pH and temperature conditions starting from water peroxide and iron.
In order to ha a stable and efficient treatment, the Fenton process is performed first with laboratory scale tests on representative samples.
